Billboard Español TV Adds Amazon Prime Video as Its Original Slate Expands

The Fuse Media–Billboard channel is widening U.S. streaming distribution as it adds Spanish-language artist interviews, performances and chart-history formats. The announcement details programming and access—not audience size or impact.

More original formats, one more streaming destination

Billboard Español TV is expanding its original programming and adding Amazon Prime Video to its U.S. distribution, Billboard reported October 8. The free Spanish-language channel is a partnership between Fuse Media and Billboard; the new platform joins HP TV Plus, LiveTVx, Orka TV, Plex and Fuse+. The announcement names a broad roster of artists, including Bad Bunny, Alejandro Sanz, Carín León, Gloria Estefan, Los Tigres del Norte, Carlos Vives, Myke Towers, Natti Natasha, Romeo Santos and Prince Royce. [1]

The slate spans six formats: Billboard En Conversación, Billboard Presenta, Saliendo Con, 24 Horas Con, Billboard Chart Historia and Billboard News Entrevista. Billboard describes them as artist conversations, performances, behind-the-scenes access and artist-led experiences. New November episodes are planned with Laura Pausini, Maluma and Tokischa, alongside the channel premiere of Cafecito Con, hosted by Billboard associate editor Jessica Roiz. The channel also schedules a daily two-hour block of Billboard exclusives from 7 to 9 p.m. Eastern time. [1]

From a launch announcement to a wider U.S. footprint

Variety reported the Billboard–Fuse partnership on March 31, describing a Spanish-language streaming channel aimed at Latino audiences in the United States and beyond. At launch, the companies said the planned programming would pair emerging Latin American talent with established stars through artist stories, music-culture coverage, chart analysis and documentaries. The October update moves from that original channel proposition to a more detailed slate of named shows and another U.S. distribution platform. [2][1]

That distinction matters: the update is not simply a list of celebrity appearances. The formats suggest the channel wants to package music discovery through several kinds of storytelling—interviews, performance, access behind the scenes and chart history—rather than rely on music videos alone. For viewers, that creates a free, Spanish-language place to encounter both familiar artists and new context around their work. For professionals, it is a distribution and programming development, not evidence that any artist has received a particular number of views or commercial results. [1][2]

Availability is not an audience report

Neither the October announcement nor Variety’s launch coverage supplies a viewer total, audience-retention measure, advertising revenue figure or demographic breakdown for Billboard Español TV. Amazon Prime Video’s addition therefore establishes another place U.S. viewers can find the channel; it does not, on its own, demonstrate audience growth, broader artist exposure or increased listening. Fuse Media and Billboard frame the service as free and culturally relevant, but those are descriptions of the offer and its intended audience, not independently measured outcomes. [1][2]

The next useful evidence would be concrete: which new programs actually premiere, how consistently they are released, what distribution and viewing data the partners choose to disclose, and how they define those measures. Until then, the news is a real expansion in programming and access—not a documented reach milestone. That keeps the story useful for fans looking for more artist-led content and for music professionals evaluating where Spanish-language music media is investing, without turning a platform launch into a claim about impact.
